About

Hailing from the Northern California coast, Greiner, along with her musings, travels continually between her neighborhood in south Seattle and those sleepy salt air locales of her youth. Light, shade, and the translucent veil of flora are constants in her work. Finally, there are the colors, simultaneously wild and precise - almost garish at first glance, one must nonetheless acknowledge having seen them occur in nature, however fleeting. In Greiner’s work color blooms in the air, alongside a cement form, or is haphazardly arranged on a dappled kitchen table.
